The Problem

Though out the sea's and the ocean's of the world the taking of Shark fin's has depleated about 90% of the worlds shark populations. Not only is this act harmfull to the enviroment but also waist full, most of the time only cutting off and keeping the finn's while thowing the living shark back into the water to die a slow and painfull death.

Plan of Action

My plan of action is clear, I am holding an informational rally against this act on March 21, 2011 to tell people about what is going on, or that is what it started with. I have been in the Oregon State new's paper, the frount page of my towns local paper and also plan on speaking at a public hearing on the bill 2838 in the Oregon House of Rep.s' which will ban the sales of shark fins.
