The Problem

In the Franklin county area there is little education about healthy eating or gardening. By involving students, staff and volunteers we will continue to create art gardens to help educate students about nutrition, home-based agriculture, and the arts.

Plan of Action

I intend to reach out to schools in the Franklin County area and seek administration interested in developing an art/health garden education project. After finding these individuals I plan on finding a location on their school grounds, developing a curriculum around the garden, seeking individuals interested in donating products, and finally implementing the project over Spring break with a group of volunteers.
