Art Hobbies Day
the problem:
In the city of Brunswick, Ga we have a variety of problems including: poverty, STD's, high school dropouts, teen pregnancies, and gang violence. These things corrupt the minds of young children in our community, it either will lead them to do the wrong things in life and make it seem like its ok to fail.

In our city no-one really cares enough about the youth to actually go out and try to help them. Although we have a wide variety of mentors, churches, and others, they only help certain individuals. My program is to help every one irregardless of what they are, whether them being bad in school, or making bad grades. Our community, I believe, makes too much money not to help and even if they had the opportunity to help, I doubt they would.
the plan of action:
I plan on having an arts day in which there will be plenty of opportunities for children to do art. I want to have many different types of art, from crafting to painting. I want teenagers from the high school that accel in art to show the younger children of our community how to do a variety of the different types of art.
