See map: Google MapsWhat's the problem you are trying to solve?: Art Is The Cure [AITC] was founded with the intention of promoting art therapy as a positive release for people suffering from depression, addiction, autism, self harming, eating disorders, anger and mental issues; AITC has seen its message spread world wide. A lot of people can’t talk about their problems or verbalize their pain, so using art in any form as a creative outlet can help people tell their story and get the negative emotion out of their system in a constructive, positive and healthy way.
Art therapy can help anyone and can be adapted depending on the persons creative release and the problems theyre dealing with. Why is it important to you?: Art therapy is a new concept to a lot of people; it costs nothing to take part in and has been proven to change lives. AITC is a source of inspiration and hope for people all over the world who struggle through life. We offer a free piece of advice and education which can act as a catalyst in helping people overcome their personal battles. Art therapy is empowering, it gives people strength and courage to deal with things in their own way and in their own time without resorting to negative outlets. Everybody has the ability to be creative, anybody can become an inspiration and we all have a cure at our finger tips. What's your plan of action?: Since the project began, AITC has received hundreds of emails from people who have shared their stories and struggles in life. The common thread throughout is that art became their lifeline and many credit Art Is The Cure with saving their life.
We have a strong online community on myspace where people can share their stories, learn about art therapy and interact with other people who are going through similar things. How Can Others Help?: Join the online community on myspace. Spread the word to friends and family and educate them about art therapy. It is a free piece of advice and you will act as a source of inspiration for someone to use art therapy and change their life. AITC is a catalyst that educates people and offers hope and it is up to them to apply to their life in their own way.
Give talks in schools, run workshops, organise gigs to spread the word, talk to local press and promote AITC online. Tell people online and in person. Be creative and passionate and become an inspiration for people.

I think this is a great idea and I would love to be involved. I'm an artist myself and if there's any way I can help, feel free to email me:
tawnien@wht.gcisa.net
I'd like to find out more about this project. Please contact me if possible.
just tried emailing you and the email keeps coming back unsent, is that the correct address?
It should be. If not, you can get a hold of me from my hotmail. But I can't get on that one as often because of internet filters here.
tawniecat@hotmail.com
If that doesn't work, which it should, then I could give you my number or something...It's a school email and I just got it...I could've messed it up.
I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get online. And this internet won't allow me to get on hotmail. So for now, all I have is this site or my school email, which is defective.
I'll try to email you and see if you get it.
Tawnie (Nekkyo_Enjeru) told me about your project. I share the same beliefs as you regarding art therapy and it benefits. Please send me more information about your project: piazaragoza@gmail.com
I wish you the best of luck with all your future endeavors!
great video :) btw, I'm at my mom's house for the summer, which means I have unblocked internet. I can give you my other email address and it should go through
