“Art for Justice.” This is a program that will be taught by Ann Marie Kirk, who has founded this educational program and successfully used it in the greater Philadelphia area. Art for Justice is a program where youth are encouraged to express their responses to life’s difficulties through the creation of art, poetry, writings and music. This 10-week program integrates 2 modalities that have been shown to be effective in work with youth at risk. It combines life skills with an art program that personalizes and intensifies the learning process. This program will cost $7,000. as it is conducted at our three educational facilities in Harleysville, Quakertown and West Chester, Pa. The measured results of this program is remarkable. Many youth who have gone through Art for Justice testify it was the most meaningful educational experience they encountered.
