The Problem

My Boy Scout Eagle Project is to replace the Arthur Eberhardt Park sign in our community park in Arthur, Illinois. The Arthur Park Board had mentioned at a monthly meeting that the former sign was dilapidated and about to collapse causing a safety hazard as well as being unsightly and uninviting.

Plan of Action

We then replaced it with weatherproof, pressure treated wood in a concrete base and illuminated the sign with improved lighting.
