The Problem

I'm trying to help tutor *th grade children at my old middle school. When I attended the school, we had Avid tutors to help us. Now because of pay cuts there is only one teacher trying to tutor several children. I'm trying to make it easier on her and help the children with questions they have about school subjects.

Plan of Action

I began going after school and talking to the children about high school. Then my Avid teacher asked me to help tutor. So I began staying for that period and helping her with the children. The children are now going to be freshman due to passing grades, are prepared or have heard what high school will be like, and have gotten plenty of help with school work.
