Bangladesh Environment Network Massachusetts Youth Chapter

My cousin and I are the two cofounders, and together, we have been raising awareness of the situation in Bangladesh - disastrous monsoons devastating the already poverty-stricken villages of the country, pollution destroying wildlife and making simple necessities like cooking and cleaning a problem - to as many people as we possibly can. At the same time, we also hold many events that not only are meant to raise awareness, but to fundraise money for helping the situation as well. To date, we have raised about $5000, which has all gone towards rebuilding homes and schools that have been destroyed in severe rainstorms, in addition to other causes in Bangladesh.
