The Problem

Basketball 4 Life focuses on changing violent mindsets and directly addressing violence based issues among teenage males. All of this is done through positive mentorship in a safe environment of respect and fun.

Update: Joseph used the Plum grant money to provide transportation for the youth for one month, encouraging more youth to come out to the program. Now, the program has over 300 teenagers registered. As the project grows, Joseph plans to start giving out rewards monthly, in order to recognize and honors changes in each teenager.
