The Problem

There is a sense of apathy in many low income communities including Clayton County, GA. We want to help them realize that their votes count at local, state and national levels. In addition to that they have the responsibility of speaking for all of the children in their community who don't yet have their own voice when it comes to politics. This will help to increase voter turnout and it will help to increase knowledge of those persons that are voting so that they are making educated decisions and not random ones.

Plan of Action

We are going to partner with middle and high school students in Clayton County, GA. We are going to host tutoring sessions to explain the electoral process and equip them to register adult voters in their community. The second phase will be to educate the students on the prevalent candidates and issues so that they can in turn inform the voters in their community so that they can make educated decisions.
