The Problem

The community that we are trying to address focuses on college students all across the nation dealing with financial struggles and need a hand getting back on their feet. With the United States economy currently in an economic recession, many students are having trouble keeping up with college tuition and cannot afford educational necessities such as supplies and textbooks.

Plan of Action

At first, our organization started off as a small idea pushed by a local coffee shop to be used as a flagship fundraiser for school in Rhode Island. As time flew by, our organization began to pick up more and more attention until the media started to contact us with a number of questions. Eventually, after our organization gained donations, we decided to change our path and direct our funds towards college students since many were finding themselves in difficult situations. In the end, our organization has benefited many students across the nation thus far. All of our recipients have sent us grateful emails explaining how much of a burden we have taken off of their back and how easy our grant was to apply for.
