The Problem

Our school has neglected to recycle for many years. The goal of this program is to introduce a recycling program to a school which has until recently placed all aluminum cans and plastic bottles in trash bins.

Plan of Action

We acquired several bins into which students can deposit recyclable bottles, and regularly bring recyclables to a student's house. From there, club members sort bottles and cans. Few are put into reverse vending machines to fund new bags, while the rest are sent to our town's recycling plant.
