BioDiesel

the problem:

The BioDiesel program is a program in which highschool students work to make biodiesel out of algae. There are different groups, some grow algae, some the the oil out of the algae, and the group that I am in take the oil and use the process of transesterification to make biodiesl out of it. The group started when toshiba gave us a grant in 2005 and is still going on. We have made great progress and we will continue to do so.
