Book Drive

I am hosting a book drive at my school to benefit the local organization Charlotte Reads. They are a literacy advocacy program that distributes books to literacy programs throughout the community. The people receiving the books are students of the literacy programs trying to better themselves and learn to read. They are not able to afford the books themselves which is crucial when one is learning to read. This book drive and program helps raise literacy rates in my community, helps the local economy, and gives people the personal satisfaction of having accomplished something bigger than themselves.
