The Borderless Hosts Program is a new cultural fellowship project starting in the spring of 2008. The program will be a joint venture between the Starkville community and Mississippi State University. The basic premise behind this program is to assist Mississippi State University's international students with the transition into the American way of day-to-day life, while also enlightening local community members about various international students' cultures. The program will pair volunteer families from the Starkville community with MSU undergraduate international students. The sharing of meals, participating in activities on campus together, and a variety of other interactions will serve as the catalysts towards the globalization of MSU and Starkville. The relationships that will develop through this program will change the lives and perspectives of the families and students involved.
