The Problem

Our neighborhood is a small friendly one located in the north side of Chicago. We have plenty of "mom and pop" stores that face the threat of being run out of business by a new Walmart. Our neighborhood is also one of the most diverse, and it has been proven that Walmart pays the male employees more than the female. Other cities have faced this problem as well, such as Houston.

Plan of Action

We have made petitions and we are writing letters to our local politicians. We will attend local citizens meetings as well.
