The Problem

Domestic violence is only a misdemeanor for the 1st and 2nd degree my goal is to get the law changed so that it will only be a felony I also am working to get probation out the guidelines. By doing this I will not only help my community but I will help Michigan as a whole. Michigan has 60,000 cases of domestic violence a year.

Plan of Action

The first thing I did was pick a name and got my bussiness registered. I am up day and night educating myself as much as possible as statistics do change daily. I have been passing out flyers, calling all local and non-local domestic violence organizations as well as shelters. I believe the most rewarding impact I have made is to be the one bold enough to open up about this issue! Many wont say anything due to fear and other reasons that I do understand! I have recieved emails, phone calls and inboxes full of people wanting to help me.
