Brian's Youth Help Get Out The Vote

the problem:

I am tring to help the 8 kids in my classroom and all the others that go to Hertiage Middle School. Maybe the kids can teach their parents. This is my wish.

why it's important:

I want to start a "Youth Get Out The Vote Club". I think that if my class can lead in something as important as voting that other students can learn too. Then they can infect their parents with the same voting passion. I want every parent in my school to register and vote. I will need my mom and teachers to help me with the details. I want to help others because others have helped me.

the plan of action:

I am only 13 years old. I have had 3 heart surgeys and a stoke. I helped my mother volunteer for the NC primary elections. I handed out stickers and went to campaine sites. I whore buttons, t-shirts and I encouraged my teacher to vote this year. I want to help teach kis early that voting is important. No matter what your ability or disability we all have the obgligation to vote.

how you can get involved:

By participating, helping to get all parents registered and parents agreeing to carpool to voting polls the Nov.
