The Problem

In the Dominican Republic down in the valleys, rivers run down from the mountains circling around the small villages. After only about 20 minutes of rain almost all those villages are flooded being either destroyed or trapped for days. This does not allow the children to cross the river to go to school, retrieve food, or have any type of communication with the little city above them. It is a huge hazard for thousands of people! We (about 60 boy and girls) built a solid concrete bridge every year over this river for different villages. We create the concrete from scratch and have the Dominican villagers help us so that the whole community works together. While this is being done, we travel with 5 doctors who examine everyone in the valley for free and 2 cooks who cook for the entire community for 10 days.

Plan of Action

To help hundreds and hundreds of kids to go to school as well as spreading much needed medicine throughout the village for as long as possible. Our mission brings hope to these villagers!
