The Problem

We are trying to help the community of Purdy, Missouri and the surrounding rural area become more involved in recycling. Most people here either landfill or burn their trash, causing pollution or wasting valuable resources that could be recovered.

Plan of Action

Our organization is in place, with a great track record of success. For this project, we will create and record a catchy, interesting song about recycling. Then we'll add it to the soundtrack of a DVD we are producing about our program as part of a book we've received a grant to write. Our state recycling agencies want to use our program as a model for other schools, and we hope that schools in other states will find our experience helpful too.
