The Problem

I created a group at my high school to raise money for our local relay for life group. I've gone around to local businesses and franchises in the community looking for sponsorships and donations, and I plan to do a coin drive at my high school also, adding the proceeds to our donation to Relay-for-Life. We're trying to exceed 3,000 in donations.

Plan of Action

I've gone around to the local businesses asking for money. I've handed my number out at various businesses and I'm planning on mailing information out to over 90% of the businesses in my community. I've started talking to my administration about the idea of a coin drive, and it's approval looks good. I will also look to a local franchise, like our McDonalds, to try to get a larger donation for our group.
