The Problem

My goal is to work with Build a Bear to donate bears to deserving children. I would donate the bears around holiday tim to the Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease Unit at Shands. With the help of the nurses, the students will able to match the bears to the children's personalities. This would bring brightness into the children's lives.

Plan of Action

I will be applying for a build a bear grant in addition to this and I hope to receive it in order to expand the project because without funding it is not possible. To start off this grant would help me to start up the project at University of Florida and I would be able to recruit volunteers and contact the nurses before I apply for build a bear, after this would take off I would start distributing the bears and would hope to continue this project for years to come.
