The Problem

It is estimated that there are 100,000 children with Type 1 Diabetes worldwide who are in need of assistance to access the insulin they need to survive. Without insulin, these children will die within 1 week. I would like to raise at least $1 for each of these children by supporting the Life For A Child program. The blue circle is the global symbol for diabetes awareness.

Plan of Action

Our family plans to host bake sales, yard sales, and lemonade stands. Additionally, my mom has taken a part time job and will be donating the additional income to Life For A Child. Finally, after partnering with some local businesses, we have launched a campaign via www.CandyHeartsBlog to raise money.
