The Problem
I think that instead of just throwing cans into recycling bins, they should be put into a separate (possibly pink) bins where local administrators could come pick up the cans and take them to be redeemed for money and donated to a breast cancer foundation. The cans would still be recycled, but instead of just giving them to recycling plants, why not capitalize on the waste for the greater good?
Plan of Action
Well, if I was able to get funded through some sort of organization to afford to buy pink bins and some sort of staff as well as advertising materials,I would be acting right now. However, times are hard and I can barely afford to keep my vehicle running (I'm a college student. lol) much less fund my own community outreach project. But when the money is available for me, I will definitely start working on my idea and get the word out there.
