The Problem

Capitol Letters Writing Center believes that within every student lives a brilliant writer. We support and challenge those writers through workshops, tutoring, and student publications that complement the classroom goals of educators in a safe and creative environment. We strongly believe that one-on-one attention and strong writing skills are fundamental components to ensuring future success. All of our free, challenging and enjoyable programming is geared toward strengthening the ability of each student to express ideas effectively, creatively, and confidently in his or her own voice.

Plan of Action

We are always looking for talented volunteers to join us and our mission. http://capitolletters.org/volunteer/

Project Updates

We have BIG NEWS to announce: Exactly five months to the day we filed our paperwork, Capitol Letters Writing Center is officially a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization! Donations to CLWC are now tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law, and that makes helping turn the dream of the center into a reality all the better for everyone.

In honor of our new status, we've added a Donate button to our website. All donations are through Paypal, so you know they're secure.

Be sure to check our website for frequent updates.

Be well,
The Good People of CLWC
