The Problem

Bringing smiles to kids who may be facing poverty, homelessness, or a difficult situation by sending handmade and painted cards to children involved with different organizations.

Why It's Important

It is important to be able to help improve a child's life if they may be struggling. By writing a personalized inspiring message in each card, an individual is truly making a positive impact.

The Plan Of Action

Since the project began in November 2009, over 700 handmade and painted cards have been sent out to children affiliated with various organizations. As cards are sent out, more smiles will be brought to the kids.

Some suggestions of groups that can become involved are girl scouts, boy scouts, senior groups, youth groups, etc. Your contribution to this project would be greatly appreciated. Update: Website: http://www.wix.com/cardsforkids/cards-for-kids Above is the link to the new and improved "Cards for Kids" website. Included in the website is more information about how to become involved with the project. A new way to become involved is to hold a 'card drive' in your school, community, or committee. People will make cards for kids and then they will be sent to organizations worldwide to bring smiles to children!

Update: Making handmade cards in youth groups, senior groups, girl scouts, boy scouts, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Please visit the "Cards for Kids" website for more information about how to become involved.
