The Problem

The Center for Advancement of Sustainable Living's project is renovating and adding to a University of Oregon facility that when completed the house will be used for University and community sustainable education. We want to teach people ways to live more sustainable.

Plan of Action

The CASL house project started in 2007 with a graduate students idea. In 2009 the University of Oregon granted the student group with a facility and building has started since then. The plan is to renovate the existing building to be sustainable and use less resources. When the renovation is completed, there will be a three bedroom addition for the three co-directors of the organization to live in.
