Castellanos Community School

The Little Village Community Development Corporation's Community schools program looks to foster a holistic approach to education for the youth of our community. The organization partners with different elementary schools in order to achieve this goal. The goal of the program is to empower community residents; youth and parents, by giving them the access to activities and programs that they would otherwise not be able to afford. For youth, there are various music, sports, arts and recreation programs. For parents, there are ESL, GED and citizenship programs. We want to get the entire family involved in our program and make education a topic that is part of household discussion.
