The Problem

In our society, we hear people everyday refer to others who are considered different with offensive names. Particularly those who have disabilities, in which we hear others use the profane "R" word. This pledge is meant to get others to stop the use of the word, and any other offensive references to those with challenges.

Plan of Action

Other than spreading the word, those involved directly in the pledge will go to local elementary, middle and high schools to present videos with interviews of parents with challenged children, challenged children themselves, as well as those involved in the pledge and how this pledge has affected them and their local community. This will initially get others interested as well as involved.
