The Problem
I was trying to solve many things. Firstly I was trying to unite my peers to perform community service with me, and promote philanthropy to the young and future generations. I wanted to show everyone how important charity work is, and how good it feels to do it.
Of course, I was also very motivated to help people. I was trying to solve the issue of poverty and starvation in my community by having canned food drives and fundraisers, while giving to poor people and people suffering from illnesses and diseases around the world. I was trying to help the most people in the most ways I could.
Plan of Action
Currently, under the kind umbrella of The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, a prestigious philanthropy organization, Jim Luce (the founder) and I have created the Isaac J. Kassin Fund, where I will be a non-profit, tax exempted philanthropy fund, to help change the world to the better, beginning from my community. I intend to give back to my community as well as the world.
For my first big project, I will host a number of events under a program I call Charity for Children. The proceeds will go to a number of organizations helping children specifically. I am planning on hosting fundraisers and events such as carnivals, sporting events, and parties in order to raise money for children suffering from illness, poverty, or lack of sanitation.
