C.H.A.T [CEDAR HILL COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM] Boys and Girls Club for the Youth of Cedar Hill Texas

Cedar Hill is a community with an estimation of about 68,000 youth and I am included in this count. I have lived in Cedar Hill for 16 years (my whole life) and as a student of CHISD and resident of Cedar Hill I have been aware that our youth needs the support of our community. The leader of C.H.A.T, Clara McGinnis, got a group of pepole together and when I heard about the movement I volunteered right away! The Cedar Hill Community Action Team, a faith based organization, is a united community initiative committed to partnering and branching throughout the community of Cedar Hill to help impact young lives by fostering growth, creating leaders, and empowering lives. In our last meeting we had CEO's, Presidents, Vice Presidents and many more representatives from the Boys and Girls Club and Big Sister Little Sister. Our goal for the up coming year is to get these programs up and moving in Cedar Hill.
