The Problem

I am in the fight against extreme poverty amongst street children in sierra Leone West Africa. Currently, there about 1647 street children under the ages of 3 to 18 years living in slums, parks, and other unsafe environment in the country without any form of care as they live on less than $0.50 a day, while the girls are exposed to sexual exploitation leading them to teenage pregnancy and high illiteracy.

Plan of Action

We are planning for a research on the situation of street children especially girls with reference to sexual exploitation and abuse in 6 parts Sierra Leone (Freetown, Kailahun, Kono, Bo, Kenema and Makeni)
