The Problem

Poverty in third world countries. Children are living their lives without homes, food, clothing, and education. Children are dying from lack of proper medicine, nutrition, and shelter. It is heartbreaking to see how little they have, and how much we take for granted, living in America.

Plan of Action

I have taken two mission trips to Guatemala. While there, we gave children and families food, water, clothing. We also built and painted new houses for them to live in, because they were living out of shacks they made out of sheets of metal. The conditions they are living in are horrible and they are unsafe. I plan out getting more people aware of this problem and raising money to be able to take more trips to these people. I plan on doing drives in order to get clothing, toys, and basic toiletries, essentials to donate to people in need.
