C.H.O.P.S - Committed to Helping Other People Succeed

My Student organization is called C.H.O.P.S. It stands for Committed to Helping Other People Succeed. We also call ourselves The Choppers. We have already thrown fundraising parties for a family whose father Ryan Frye has a cancerous Brain Tumor. He is the Sole provider. We also have a really big community project we are working on involving the Veterans of our Country. We are calling it "Soldiers in Stone," We are place bricks in the ground by our local veterans museum. We are selling them to people so they can put their family member or friends name and war served on them. The money we make is going to the Veterans Foundation and also families in need. We have our sponosers and the Mayor of our city helping us with this project. It is set to launch in April and hope to go nation wide with it. We are getting our news stations and Courier involved as well for advertising. We have many other projects in the making for groups such as Wish upon a star and other things like that. Our purpose is to help the community when it needs it and to make the world a little better by starting locally.
