Citizen action project

the problem:

The Problem-
Approximately 1 billion trees worth of paper are thrown away every year in the U.S.
Americans use 85,000,000 tons of paper a year; about 680 pounds per person.
The average household throws away 13,000 separate pieces of paper each year.
This is also affecting earth’s natural resources. According to scientists, the earth’s temperature has raised I degree Fahrenheit, due to human activities in the past decade.

My Goal
My goal is to inform my community about the benefits of recycling, decreasing
electricity usage and reusing items. I also want to raise more awareness on this
growing issue. As a community we need to come together and reduce water and
air pollution.
