The Problem

I'm helping the communities of Boston because there is a critical need for improvement. Through the City Year organization I am beautifying the city by painting murals on walls inside schools, community centers, etc.; I am showing empathy by volunteering at homeless shelters and lastly, I am choosing to educate myself by attending workshops and interacting with those in my community.

Plan of Action

My plan of action to further the effectiveness of City Year Boston is to spread the word and give other youth my testimony. A lot of times youth won't listen to those that are superior, instead they'll listen to those that are their age and who don't hold too much power over them.
