The Problem

With our school garden and learning center, we hope to develop children's sense of wonder for nature and the outdoor world. Our garden will bring education alive for our preschool and primary aged students. Our garden will help students connect to the biotic world, learn sustainable gardening practices, and develop healthy eating habits.

Plan of Action

We will design and implement a school garden at Clark Fork School. Developing our school garden requires the following steps: Covering the lot with healthy soil; installing deer fences; planting native plant species, herbs, fruits, and vegetables; maintenance; designing, planting, and maintaining native wildlife habitat.
