The Problem

People who own fur but realize the cruelty behind the fur sometimes do not know what to do with it. Therefore, the Humane Society of the United States has provided an alternative to giving the fur back to a fur producer. The HSUS is collecting fur products and donating them to wildlife rehabilitators who give the fur to orphaned wildlife. These babies use the fur as a "surrogate mother" - they play with the fur and sleep in the fur.

Plan of Action

We will set up donation boxes in large traffic areas - such as churches, grocery stores, offices, etc. asking for donations of fur coats, stoles, or other fur products. We will collect these donations and give them to the HSUS to provide to the orphaned wildlife.
