The Problem

At the University of Delaware there are 21 athletic programs which all need funding. The Sports marketing department is trying to get the community involved but do not have the financial ability to fund ideas for all of the athletic teams.

Plan of Action

Get local elementary and middle schools involved through marketing. Use educational programs to get student athletes involved with grade school children to give these children a positive role model that can be close to them when needed. By giving these children someone to positively influence that is local but also in a positive position (on a collegiate sports team) meaning they are in good academic standing to be able to participate on a team at the University of Delaware it will create a positive world for our local Delaware youth.
