The Problem

Community Unity is the name of my organization. It is the very heartbeat and vision God has equipped me with. Community Unity's slogan line is, "As a Community Unified together, we can change the world one step at a time." Community Unity challenges its members to take action out in the world. Community Unity frequently sends challenges to its members to go on little "missions" in their local areas. The missions are creatively made and carried out to make this world a better place. Helping the homeless, leaving encouraging notes throughout the mall, grabbing a stranger and helping them randomly, ect. The greatest thing is...when you try to change the world, that greatest change is happening inside of YOU! Therefore, you are changing the world. Its a beautiful picture with a beautiful message.

Plan of Action

This year, October 1 and 2, there is a kickoff event for Community Unity. It is in Savannah, GA in a building provided by Bull Street Baptist. I have worked super hard on this event, and it seems to be running quite smoothly so far. The event is a combination of dance, drama, interpretive movement, bands, speaking, and donations. It is going to be an awesome-rocking night. We have a wonderful cast, crew, and volunteers. Right now, we are looking to having the Community Unity website and promotional video finished by the end of August. It is going to change lives-while embracing ours at the same time! We are hoping to travel the event to different churches and communities. While at these events, we will encourage others to be apart of the membership, and with that we will all TOGETHER embark upon various missions to make this world a better place.
