Cooling It!

the problem:

Our club members read about global warming and how it happens, what can help stop it. We made signs for our school to remind kids about turning off the lights, recycling in the right containers, and we made public service announcements about "somethings we can do" to stop global warming. Wealso had a visit from an energy consultant who told us about using more energy efficient light bulbs, being aware of the water and energy that we might bewasting in our daily routines, and about making lists before you go out to do errands with your parents so that you can plan to use the least amount of fuel and cause less pollution. We can be ADVOCATES in our homes, and schools, so that everyone can be more informed and proactive about protecting theenvironment.

That's a pretty cool idea--making the signs, I mean. I really want to join the school's eco club, so if I do, maybe I could bring this up!
