The Problem

We try to teach others and show disabled people that they are not discriminated against. They are able to do anything that "normal people" can. We target people of any age that have any disability and want to be active, learn to ski, and be able to do something many of them think they cannot do.

Plan of Action

I wanted to get involved with something that touched me personally. My grandfather and people I know are disabled, I wanted to get involved with something I knew was needed. I found the opportunity to volunteer as at the Courage Center Adaptive Ski Program. I have volunteered there for seven years and have a great passion for it.
