The Problem

We are trying to help the world to understand one another, and ultimately help to create peace. We believe that children are the best way to achieve this goal, because we are the future. If all the children of today can appreciate each other's differences, the world leaders of the future will as well. Many kids our age don't do anything to help out in their community, and that is unfortunate because it would make such a difference if they did. We are hoping to inspire kids around the world to use their talents and hobbies to help out.

Why It's Important

Bono once said, "If music can change people, it can change the world." This is pretty much the view of our band. We live for music, and are constantly writing new material. We also live to help those that are less fortunate then us, and somehow we figured out a way to tie the two together. We play shows for charity benefits along with our basic New York venues to help spread our message of peace. We try to educate other kids about how they can use their hobbies to make a difference. Through our music and message, we believe that we can help to make the world a better place to live in.

The Plan Of Action

In 6th grade, our music became more than just fun. We wanted to use our music for the benefit of others. So, we decided that we would raise money through c.d. sales and a benefit at BB Kings to build a school in Mali, Africa. We did so through the We Are Family Foundation and Building With Books. We completed our goal, and there is now a school with kids attending in Mali called “The Creation School”. After our goal was completed, we continued to work with the We Are Family foundation, as well as many other charities such as US Doctors for Africa and many more. We then made a Clinton Global Initiative to raise money to support the We Are Family Foundation in their 3 Dot Dash teen Peace summit. We raised a lot of money, and the summit was a great success; we even performed at it. In October, we performed at a ceremony for a park in Maryland being dedicated to Mattie J.T. Stepanek, who is a great inspiration to us. It is an unbelievable feeling to be able to use something that we love, music, for the benefit of others. SEE THE VIDEO ABOVE TO WATCH THE DETAILS OF OUR PAST ACHIEVEMENTS.

How Can Others Get Involved?

People can help by going to our website and donating to our foundation, so that we can further spread our message. Check out our upcoming shows if you want to hear us live, our music and future goals.
