The Problem

I was tired of being approached by threatening men. My friends told me too many stories of frightening encounters and being harassed. Why, I wondered, aren't we safe? Why can't we walk in a nice neighborhood without pepper spray and a small entourage? Why can't women safely go out at night? There has to be a way to change this.

Plan of Action

I am setting up a website, Creep_away, where anyone who has been harassed or threatened can report the incident. The incident will be placed on a map, and details of the approach recorded. In many ways we're a lot like Hollaback. However, we are collecting more information about the aggressor. Our goal is to record criminals' failed crimes, in order to provide more evidence against them when they're caught.
