Crisis Confidence
the problem:
The purpose of my service is two fold. First of all I use my Martial Arts background to help young women who have been victims of sexual, verbal, and physical abuse regain their confidence through women's defense and confidence training. I also use my Martial Arts background to help provide martial arts to children who otherwise could not take it because it is a costly field. I am teaching 76 students at a local elementary school for an hour a day and I am currently overseeing 3 young women in the crisis confidence program that I am trying to start. One of the ways that I am getting my program out in the public is by providing free women's defense courses to local churches and other women's organizations throughout Utah and Las Vegas.
