The Problem

The community I'm helping is one I have grown up in all my life and have witnessed so many homeless people over the years. It's hard to see this everyday, breaks my heart each time. The upcoming winter is supposed to be worse than last year here in Ohio. The local women's shelters are having a lot of infants and toddlers come in.

Plan of Action

I want to help keep them warm this winter by knitting and crocheting baby booties, socks, blankets, and baby sweaters as well. I also will be making small animals for them to have. I taught myself how to knit and crochet and have been doing it everyday making stuff for the children. I have yet to take anything to the shelters because I want to have a lot to take there.
