The Problem

Community development for the Maasai tribe in Kenya... a tribe largely economically dependent upon their livestock.

Plan of Action

Becoming involved largely in one community: hosting kids' clubs, giving veterinary support and education, spiritual education, building projects, cultural appreciation (let them teach us too!).

Project Updates

Though personally no longer in Kenya, groups from my high school continue to travel to this rural community of the Maasai tribe and continue the community development work started there. Establishing a long-term relationship with the community is a huge development in itself!
