The Problem

1 in 8 Americans does not have access to enough food. More than 12 million kids and teens do not have enough food to eat. But our food banks remain almost empty. This is simply unacceptable. We need to DO SOMETHING!

Why It's Important

This recession has initiated more demands for food, and we saw the impact we had with last year's Feed the Need campaign at Cupertino High School, so we want to match and beat last year's numbers!

The Plan Of Action

We will get the whole school involved (1,600 students) to help out our community by collecting as much food as possible through a class competition, raising awareness about the hunger crisis, and collecting food in our community. Our Goal: 2,500 pounds of food!

How Can Others Get Involved?

Donate canned foods or volunteer to help obtain food. Cupertino High School families can donated non-perishable foods in the Library, Wagon Wheel, or Guidance Office starting November 2nd! Students interested in volunteering should contact their Class Councils or the ASB Community Link Commissioners ASAP!
