Dance Together

1. I applied to the national youth competition for project ideas, organized by the European Commission in Bulgaria. 2. I went to present my idea in person during the final round of the competition. After I won the award, I was given $ 2 600 to realize my idea. 3. I organized meetings with the 5 directors of the folk groups. 4. I found technical staff (incl. people responsible for the fireworks, music and lights). 5. I found a professional movie director to record the concert. 6. I saved the Theater in my town for the particular night. 7. I made invitations and gave them personally to the mayor of the city and other people in the social, political and educational spheres. 8. I advertised in the local media and put up informational posters around the town inviting people to come to the concert. 9. I organized a few rehearsals with all folk groups. 10. The concert took place. 11. The movie was made (about Bulgaria, its folklore and traditions). 12. I sent the movie to the Bulgarian Embassies abroad. 13. Invitations were received for our folk groups to be guests at international dance festivals abroad.
