The Problem

Improving awareness about genetic disorders and research. Lack of awareness about genetic disorders such as autism, or sotos lead 'normal' students to discriminate against students who have disorders. By raising awareness in the community, people will be less inclined to discriminate against those with genetic disorders.

Plan of Action

DCR is a result of an inspiring child I met a few years back. I have been spreading the word in my school via word of mouth and advertising the cause with ribbons. I would like to host major events that both raise money and educate the public about genetic disorders.
